Navigation

The setup for course navigation can vary depending on the theme your site is using. The most common setup uses the Navigation Drawer, which is the left-hand column that can be expanded or collapsed by clicking the hamburger icon in the top-left corner.

navigation drawerThe Navigation drawer provides access to the topics/weeks in a course, as well as other areas on the site like your home page or dashboard. You may not have all the links listed below, but the most common navigation links inside a course include:

  • Participants (view other course participants, including the instructor)
  • Badges (a list of badges that can be earned in the course)
  • Competencies (if they're being used)
  • Grades (the User Report for learners, and the Grader Report for instructors)
  • Course topics/weeks
