This is a class for students who need to fulfill their Chemistry requirement for graduation and are not likely going into a science or math related field of study in college. The course focuses on the major concepts of chemistry: matter, chemical properties, making measurements - the mole, organization of the periodic table, chemical compounds & bonding, and chemical reactions. Of course, there is a good amount of measurement and calculation involved.
