MN Prisons Project

Students will create a powerpoint for one of the MN-Doc prisons.  

The following information should be included:

1) Year facility opened

2) What is the population size of the prison and how many are they equipped to take

3) Level of security

4) Pictures of the prison

5) MN map with the prison location pin-pointed

6) Work programming

7) Specific policies unique to that facility

8) "Voices of the Prison" (ex: former inmates, guards, correctional officers, etc)-what was that facility like

9) Inmate Profile-analysis of data and share data

Powerpoint Requirements

-Title Slide

-Informational slides-font and pictures large enough to see throughout the room

- 1 picture minimum per slide

-20 words or less on each slide
