The study of Biology is primarily devoted to living things and their processes. Specifically, How do WE as individuals in this environment relate and interact to what’s around and inside us? This course will provide students an opportunity to develop scientific process skills, laboratory techniques and an understanding of the fundamental principles of living organisms. Students will explore biological science as a process, cell structure and function, genetics and heredity, evolution and classification, diversity of living organisms and their ecological roles, and will explore an introduction to human structure and function. Our goal in science is to prepare students for the rapidly changing future while mastering the Standards of Learning.
